Baroque

The spring capsule collection of jewelry and accessories is richly infused with the grandeur of Cossack Baroque — an architectural era that encapsulates the historical dynamics of its time. Compared to Western European Baroque, Cossack Baroque is more restrained in its ornamentation, yet it remains filled with a unique and intense artistic spirit. It is this very essence that GUNIA Project retranslates in its new collection.

The earrings are crafted from microsculptures of naïve birds and Baroque pearls, framed in gold-plated silver. The shape of the silk collars recalls the mlynci — a part of the outerwear styles of the late 19th-century Poltava region.

GUNIA Project continues to unfold the idea of utilitarian beauty, a concept deeply embraced by the brand’s co-founders Natalia Kamenska and Mariia Havryliuk through their research into Ukrainian culture.
