Gunia Project x VOGUE
To celebrate Christmas and the New Year holidays, GUNIA Project and Ukrainian Vogue have created a limited-edition collection of jewelry.
The collection includes 25 numbered porcelain pendants with handmade paintings on a gold-plated chain. Each product is crafted and painted by hand with cobalt paints.

“For the decoration, we chose a floral pattern originating from the INDIGO line,” says GUNIA’s co-founder Mariia Havryliuk. “This motif reinterprets carpet ornaments from the collection of the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine. The shape of the pendant is symbolic — it resembles the silhouettes of a flower, a cross, and a star. Everyone can find their own meaning in it.”
“This ornament first appeared in the design of a ceramic outfit that the GUNIA Project team created at the invitation of the editorial team for the Vogue Ukraine Designers Showcase in Paris. The joint experiment was a great success with the international audience, and soon this design appeared on the cover of Vogue’s collectible summer edition. That’s how the idea to continue the project in a physical form was born — by creating a limited-edition collection of jewelry,” says Vogue Ukraine Editor-in-Chief Venya Brykalin.
The collection is not only symbolic but also charitable — the proceeds from the sales have been donated to the Veteranka Foundation, which supports women service members on the front line and helps female veterans reintegrate into civilian life.
