Atlantes
For the first time, the founders of the brand, Mariia Havryliuk and Natasha Kamenska, drew inspiration from the architecture of Kyiv, utilizing its motifs as the foundation for the ATLANTES collection. The works of a mysterious architect, Ignatiy Kazymyrovych Ledokhovskyi — namely the Kozerovskyi House with its striking Atlantes on Kostelna Street — became the primary source of inspiration.

The new collection features gilded silver earrings in the shape of Atlantean heads and figures, a silver brooch in the shape of a human face, Atlantean head vases made of blown glass, a ceramic scented candle with a sculpture, as well as silk scarves with hand-finished edges, which are an integral part of the GUNIA Project.

In times of war, Ukrainian culture has emerged as an Atlas, shouldering the unity of an entire nation. Its preservation has become one of the foremost challenges of our time — one that GUNIA Project sees as its mission.
The new collection reflects on the existence of Ukrainian culture during wartime, the need to protect it, and the importance of rediscovering and preserving the connection between cultural symbols and the broader idea of the Ukrainian nation.

“ATLANTES is one of our most complex collections in terms of design and craftsmanship,” shared the founders. “To bring it to life, we welcomed sculptors into our team to explore the nuances and depths of this art form.”
