Indigo
The blue Collection by GUNIA Project is a thoughtful reflection on cosmopolitanism and the absence of borders, as well as the accessibility of materials and resources.
There is a theory that so few antique everyday items, textiles, and shirts in blue have survived to this day because the color was traditionally obtained exclusively through indigo dye, which was sourced from Asia and the Middle East. During the Turkish War on the territory of Ukraine, a shortage of this dye occurred, making the few surviving examples of such items especially valuable.

Taking the indigo color and traditional ornaments of Ukrainian carpets as a basis, the brand's designers experimented with shapes, giving them Asian motifs. The capsule contains ceramic products and silk scarves. In support of the collection, GUNIA Project launched a new fragrance of the iconic bird candle, made in blue. Traditionally for the brand, all products are created and painted by hand.
