The silhouettes of the collection engage directly with traditional Ukrainian dress. Bukovynian and Zakarpattian keptars — traditional sleeveless garments — inform the lines of the vests, while the outerwear references Hutsul huhels and krysani. Warm knitted textures — sweaters, cardigans and patterned vests — are complemented by embroidery, ornaments and, in some pieces, decorative tassels. Scarves woven from tassel-like pompoms echo the embellishments of traditional Hutsul dress. Beading, embroidery and ornaments characteristic of folk clothing from different regions appear throughout the collection.
